Uncle Sam was my great uncle....he was my mother's uncle but I often heard of him calling her "Momma" which was very confusing, needless to say, since he was the oldest (LOL!!!). I then realized that he called her that because she looked like his mother Sally". This was one of the funniest, good-looking, down-to-earth great uncle's that I have ever had and he stayed upbeat until he left this earth. I am thankful that we had the opportunity to have some great times over the last few years.you...
