Not sure what to say?

Back in the day when my parents attended an Amway Convention; we little ones would come down to be entertained by the Great Sammy Hall. Man, he was dreamy! I am now 54 and still reminisce on the weekend I got to attend his concerts there at the convention. I remember him dressed up in his 'Super Hero' type costume and I thought he was the coolest singer Ever! I have thought about those memories from time to time, but today April 3, 2025 thought I'd look him up to see if I could find a pic to...

The Sammy Hall Singers came to my high school in Glencoe, AL, in 1974, I believe, and after singing "Plenty of Time" he invited anyone forward to pray. I received Christ as my Savior and God called me to full-time pastoral ministry. There is not a day goes by that I don't thank God for that song and the Sammy Hall Singers!

I met Sammy Hall at Paulding County High School in 1974. It was an amazing experience to hear his stories and see his faith in God through his music. So glad he shared his passion and dedication to the Lords work with me and sooo many more youth.
Me & my best friend Sharon gave our lives to the Lord that night. He was such a blessing to young people that needed guidance. Grateful that he was able to share the faith. So sorry his work here is done. He was instrumental in bringing so many...

I remember Sammy from football, when his son Brannon and my brother, Scott, played together as running backs and various other positions. I have since moved away and was completely unaware of Sammy's death, only finding out by doing a random search to see old names that I remembered from my youth. Sammy seemed like a really good guy. I hope his family and friends know that he was in face, a really good guy who never let his fame get the better of him. The world needs more people like him.

Saw Sammy at amway convention in the 70´s. He gave a wonderful Christian Show. Just looked him and saw where he passed away. He was a great servant of our Lord Jesus and resting in His presence!!

He led me to Christ with his song "I've got a Piece of the Rock". I wanted what he had.

Please accept my condolences. Sammy sang and gave his testimony at The Mentor, Ohio Church of God in the early 1970’s. My friends and I ran to the alter. I will never forget him. May God bless your family. Thank you for sharing him with us.

As a teenage evangelist, my new bride and I, heard Sammy and his sisters sing At the 1970 Church of God General Assembly in St. Louis, Missouri. I have never forgotten the powerful anointing that touched my heart as they sand. They closed singing, ‘Til the Storm Passes Over.” And to this day, over 50 years later, it still often echoes in my heart. And I still often quote the powerful truth of their song, “We’re a Needy, Needy People Without Him.”
Thank you, Sammy.

Sammy had a voice no one could match. He was such a great guy.
