Not sure what to say?

Just read about Dr. Singh in the Lander Magazine. He was my Sociology Professor at Lander in 1975. His love for people, government and doing what was true and right was infectious. He was a "Great Professor". He inspired me to be a Social Worker.

My calendar has an entry on Wednesday, January 15, 2020 of "Dinner - George, gym friends" at Pearlz. How grateful I am that I was in Charleston visiting my cousin George, and able to meet Samrend, Annie and AJ. We talked and laughed and learned about each other for hours over drinks and oysters (the oysters made it into a photo; alas, the people did not). I sat next to Samrend and it is a memory I cherish. Keeping you all in my heart. He is gone too soon, but the world is a better place...

Samrend was a dear friend. His enthusiasm and positive energy were contagious. He always made you feel like you were the most important person in the room. Samrend was a real joy to be with and so very interesting to talk to. He could visit on various topics and always added interesting viewpoints. He had a very welcoming spirit and he always embraced life with gusto. Certainly, we feel blessed to have known him, even for a short while. Jagdish and Jean Gill

We are so sorry to hear about Dr. Singh. He was absolutely one of my favorite teachers in Lander, and always a very good friend. You are in our prayers and if there´s ever anything we can do please do not hesitate to contact us. Rhett, Anna, Elizabeth Dominick, Leslie & Clint Burden

Fond memories. I was his student at Lander many years ago. Praying for his family.

Myself Anshuman Singh(nephew) son of his cousin Late Birendra Singh whom he appreciated the most. I always meet him whenever he visits India. May his soul rest in peace.

A wonderful neighbor but more importantly a great friend who took my wife and I into his heart when we moved here almost 6 years ago. I will always treasure our talks over a glass of wine (or two)! Rest peacefully my friend.
