Not sure what to say?

Here we are 24 years later and our hearts still feel the pain of this day. We will never forget you. Keep flying with the Angel's Sammy!

Recently was informed Sam perished while doing what he loved serving the public no matter what the cost. I was fortunate to be one of his football coaches at Peekskill, N.Y. High School back in 1971& 72. He gave his all for his teammates as obviously for his fellow firemen at FDNY during 9/11. I was blessed to have him as an athlete who was so receptive to learning the game of football and gained the respect of the entire team and staff due to his exceptional work ethic. God Bless Sammy. 23 years ago, seems like yesterday. There's a void in our hearts that will never be filled. You are missed!

Sammy, I remember you at my house growing up on Old Bay St as my brother Chris's friend. Yes, you always had a beautiful smile on your face. Your brother Joey & I went through The Assumption together. Ty for your Service, but sorry you haven't been with us in 23 years. Beautiful statue was made for you at the Peekskill Riverfront. The word hero is thrown around too much these days, but truly it fits you. Will see you again one day, RIP Sammy.

22 years today. We will never forget. Fly high Sammy and watch over all.

Your Still in our thoughts, hearts and prayers. Keep flying high. We will never forget!

20 years ago our hearts were broken. The candle is lite, the prayers are said.
You are missed. Keep flying high with all our Angels! We will never Forget!!
