Samuel Acosta, 30, of Lubbock, Tx, formerly of Perryton, Tx passed away on Wednesday, July 29, 2020. A graveside service is scheduled for 11:00 am Saturday, August 8, 2020 at Ochiltree Cemetery with Jose Avalos officiating. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home of Perryton. Viewing/Visitation will be Thursday, August 6 and Friday, August 7 from 9:00 am – 9:00 pm at Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home with small services scheduled at 7:00 pm both nights. Due to COVID 19 guidelines, we will be practicing social distancing and occupancy numbers will be limited. Graveside service will be broadcast live on Boxwell Brothers Facebook page for those who wish to watch. There is a link on the website (boxwellbros.com) to access the Facebook page.
Samuel was born January 5, 1990 in Perryton, Tx to Sergio and Maria Delfina Aldaco Acosta. He married Ana Rosa Rosales on November 21, 2007 in Perryton, Tx. He was a member of Victory Family Church. Samuel was a great father, very selfless and liked helping others. He also had a love and passion for horses.
He is survived by his wife, Ana Rosa Acosta; children, Anahi Alvarado, Samuel Anthony Alvarado, Sofia Alvarado, Analia Alvarado, Isaiah Alvarado all of Booker, Tx; He is also survived by his parents, Sergio and Maria Delfina Acosta; siblings, Yesenia Ochoa, Aron Acosta, Daisy Melissa Acosta all from Lubbock, Tx, Daniela Acosta and Noemi Acosta of Perryton, Tx; nephew and nieces, Xavier Ochoa, Jasmine Ochoa and Nevaeh Porras.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Arturo Acosta, Francisco Aldaco, Raquel Enriquez and one brother, Ricardo Acosta.
