Mr.Samuel J. Adams was a highly respected well liked teacher at Mattie T. Blount High School during my attendance from 1963 to 1968 and was a part of those teachers i.e. Pratt, Finkley, Taylor,Curtis, Portis, Holt, Davis to name a few who wanted the very best for the students and the Prichard community. Mr. Adams gave above and beyond his time and treasure to activities at the school and leaves a great LEGACY that the Adams Family should be very proud to claim.
