Samuel Crawley Agee Jr.

I´ve known Sam for 35 years in fact he was responsible for my first job in the hospitality industry and my last. He was a great man and a mentor. God bless the Agee family during this time.

Liz,I'm so sorry to hear of Sam's passing. Sam absolutely was one of the smartest hospitality people I ever had the opportunity to work with. There's no way to describe what I personally learned from Sam. What I learned from him allowed me to move on from the food and beverage area to operation of my own property in Raleigh, NC. I knew Sam through running his hotel and Eatonton and knew him to be a kind and gentle man. I enjoyed getting to know him and the time we spent together. My sincere condolences to the family.

I was truly saddened to hear of Sam's passing. I worked with him at IMIC Hotels and he taught me a lot about the hotel industry and its lingo but he also taught me through his own example of how to be compassionate to others at all times. It is a lesson I have carried into my own life all these decades and I will forever fondly and respectfully speak his name.
