I haven't seen Sam since our days at Harris Junior High well over 36 years ago, but I do remember him. In hindsight, he was a kind soul who befriended me in that awkward early teen stage, showing kindness that others wouldn't. Never had an attitude and never judge anyone. Rest in peace dear olde classmate, you made an indelible impression upon everyone you touched.
