Karlya and family, I was saddened to hear of your dad's death. Whenever I think of Sam I remember his sense of humor and kindness to me. I worked in the family gas station in 1978 & 1979 and your father always picked me up at 5:00 a.m. ( and believe me I had to be ready) to go to work. I have some great memories of him.
Rest in peace Sam, I know you are happy in your new home.

Please accept my heart felt sympathy in the loss of your father and grand-father. Unfortunately, I was not able to meet Sam when I was up there in August but felt that I knew him from all the stories I heard from Rick and Andrea. I know that he will be deeply missed by the entire family (and the cat).
