I am very sorry to hear of Sam's passing. Sam stood for so many things we all treasure here in the Finger Lakes. I personally share many of the very same interests and values that Sam held. He was such an eloquent spokesman. God Bless You Sam, and your wonderful legacy. We will all miss you.

Though we hadn't seen Sam in many years, we always held him dear in our hearts.
And in fact, we were telling our children
Sam stories the very night we learned he had passed. What a bright light he was on this earth...now traveling at the speed of light. Love to all his family
Rest in Peace Sam.

I was in high school when he told me those words they always stayed with me over the years. He touch my life over the years with his wisdom and I valued his friendship. He was large than life. Over the years he always gave a hug when he saw me. He would ruffle Ryan's hair and he would say...
