Not sure what to say?

Te extraño y te extrañare siempre hermano

Fair winds and following seas to a truly great man. Your work ethic and determination were exemplary, and having met you was an honor. Rest easy, Sammy, thank you for your service.

Sammy was a such a wonderful person he always had a smile on his face and could make any one laugh even on your worst day! The world is a little darker with out you in it! My prayers go out to the family

I consider Sam my Brother and one of my closest friends. We first met onboard the CGC Venturous almost 8 yrs ago and I still remember one of my first interactions with him. I was waking him for watch, nudging his shoulder and whispering his name trying not to wake the others. He jerks up and says, “What did you call me?” I answered, “Sammy.” He replied, “Only my friends call me Sammy”. I laughed and we became the closest of friends ever since that time.

I just want to say thank...

From the moment Sam reported aboard USCGC VENTUROUS (WMEC-625) I could tell there was something special about him. He was always polite, kind and respectful. He was also focused and on a mission to do bigger and better things. When considering to apply for OCS, Sam called me to ask me for my advice. I was very happy for Sam when I received the news that he had been selected for OCS. Thank you for sharing Sam with the crew of USCGC VENTUROUS (WMEC-625) in St. Petersburg, FL and the U.S....

Fair winds and following seas. We have the watch

Sam was an incredible individual and he will be missed deeply. Clear skies and Tailwinds.

My condolences to the Barragan Palma family. My thoughts and prayers are with you all during this time. Sam will be greatly missed but never forgotten.
