To Mildred, Joyce, and all of the family: My thoughts and prayers are with you. God is good all the time.

Uncle Sam,
I have so many great memories of you and my Dad together during my childhood. You were one of my Dad's best friends and he truly loved and appreciated you, as do I. I know you and Daddy are having a blast together. Until I see you again, rest in peace.

Love,

Love and comfort to the family of Sam Baskins. He was always a good man, a man who found time for everyone without regard to race, creed or color. It is really ironic, but recently, I had been asking anyone from the North Side with whom I crossed paths if they had seen Sam. Although unwanted, I got my answer. God must have needed him to help spread his message even more. Not only will he be missed by all of you, he will be missed by me, also.

Uncle sam, you will be greatly missed. I know your work here is done, but life is just beginning in the House of our Lord and Savior. I will see you again someday.
Love Always,
Rick Barnett
