Samuel Baskins Sr.

I’m sorry to here this young man passed away, I remember him as a child, I dated his sister, we went to Oliver high together, he was funny and loving, I wish we could have kept in touch, rest in peace my Brother, much love!

To the Baskins Family:

Love and comfort to the family of Sam Baskins. He was always a good man, a man who found time for everyone without regard to race, creed or color. It is really ironic, but recently, I had been asking anyone from the North Side with whom I crossed paths if they had seen Sam. Although unwanted, I got my answer. God must have needed him to help spread his message even more. Not only will he be missed by all of you, he will be missed by me, also.

Uncle sam, you will be greatly missed. I know your work here is done, but life is just beginning in the House of our Lord and Savior. I will see you again someday.
