I had the privilege of being one of Judge Beatty's students at UA in the spring of 1975. My experience was that he was a fascinating lecturer and a very fair man. Sincerest sympathies to his family and friends.

I will miss Judge Beatty. He was an amazing man who always seemed larger than life. My heartfelt condolences to the Beatty family.
