Not sure what to say?

I remember the good times: sailing to Block in dense fog, with a mutual friend's wife at the bow blowing a fog horn every 30 seconds; Playing in the Court Square Irregulars with Sam, Phil Castleman, Jan Welsh and Charles Greenlee and later with the Downstairs Swing Band.
Sail on good friend.

He was a good friend and an excellant sailor .

Sam was one of my father's good friends while they worked together at Phillip's Bros. Chemicals. He always spoke highly of him, and I believed they got along very well. He was a help to my family when my dad passed and was very kind to me. Sam, your family has our condolences. I wish you safe sailing in the days ahead.
