My husband Jerry and I were very sad to learn of Sam's death. We always enjoyed spending time with him when he visited St. Louis. He was a wonderful and truly amazing man. May he rest in peace.

I am the daughter-in-law of Doris Sacks. I want to express to you all how sad I am to learn today that Sam's loving presence is no longer felt upon this earth. I will always think of him with warmth and love, as will my husband and sons, and our entire family. He was a great man who always treated us so sweetly. Our condolences to the entire family.
