I will never forget Bro. Brown and all that he and Lois did for me when I was growing up in Louisville and when I was posted to Washington DC with the Army. He will be missed here but rejoices today in his new home.

Mrs. Brown, Mark & Lee Ann,
I was so saddened to hear the news that Rev. Brown had passed away. He was one of a kind and eventhough I was a kid when you all pastored at Arlington Calvary, I distinctly remember his beautiful smile and the love he had for the people at Calvary Church. I remember always getting a huge bear hug from him on Sunday mornings. :) Our prayers will be with you. Would love to hear from you. I'm on facebook :) DeAnne

Lois - One of my first thoughts when hearing about Sam's homegoing was that he has been reunited with your beloved son Sammy. I never forgot the poignant story of losing your precious son and how heartbreaking it was. Your ministry at Calvary Chuch in Arlingon has left an indelible print on my life. Sam Brown was the best pastor I've ever had and it was my privilege to tell him so many years later. He took a personal interest in me and my husband Dean and truly had a servant's heart. He...

It is hard to find the right words at a time like this. Bro. Brown was truely a man of God and one of the best pastors our family experienced. Our loss is heavens gain and I can just see him there and everyone greeting him along with my wonderful husband that went to Sweet Beulah Land two years ago. I just want to say to Lois, Lee Ann, Mark and the rest of the family this is trying times but the Lord will see you thru. I would have loved to have been there for the funeral but I felt my...
