PITTSFIELD -- Samuel Lawrence Caesar, 78, of 3 Robbins Ave., died Tuesday at Berkshire Medical Center.

Born in Dalton on Feb. 11, 1929, son of John and Elizabeth Evans Caesar, he was educated in local schools.

Mr. Caesar was an Army veteran of the Korean War.
