Not sure what to say?

Dear Family,
Our families together will miss Uncle Sam. I have always considered him my Uncle Sam as well as Aunt Chubby as two of our favorite family members. They opened up their home to us when my Dad passed away which has always meant so much to me. I know that my Dad,Uncle Sam, Aunt Chubby, Aunt Ester and the rest that have gone before us will be their to open their home to us again in heaven. Love to All

Uncle Sam will be messed by the entire Davis family. When we all gathered together at Uncle Sam's and Aunt Chubby's or over at Big Aunt Esters with his cigar always in his mouth brings back the best of times and memories. How Uncle Sam and Aunt Chubby warmly opened up their home for us when my father died will never be forgotten.
May your fond memories help heal your sorrows.
My love and prayers go out to you.
your cousin, Laura

Memories of Uncle Sammy are some of my fondest; picking dandelion greens and summer swims, or just the great family gatherings on Etiwanda. Follow your nose to the trail of cigar smoke, Uncle Sammy wasn't far behind. I remember him as a generous, kind and loving man; giving to others seemed to bring him great joy. I hold him dear to my heart. G-D Bless you all who will miss him, whose lives he touched. He leaves a legacy, he was a true "Gentleman". Thank you for sharing him with us.

Our prayers are with you on the loss of your father. Uncle Sam (stogie)as I called him when I was little, was a great man and friend. Me and my family will always remember him in our hearts.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this difficult time. We are certainly going to miss Sam (Sequoia Sam)especially when we play "Golf". We will never forget his smile and laughter.

I offer my condolences on the loss of your father. Sam was one of a kind. I will remember him because of his kindness to others. May he rest in peace with the choir of angels

Though I knew Sam for such a short time, he seemed to me to be a fine man. We will miss his smiling face and happy ways. We are so sorry for the loss of your father and suggest that he might be going to a better place, joining with freinds and family who have gone before him.
