Not sure what to say?

He had a big influence on me. What a great man!

Mr. "C" recruited me for the percussion section in the high school band. I loved every minute of it! I really enjoyed summer lessons with him. He was a wealth of knowledge!! I only got to have him for 1 year before he changed schools. He expected the best from us and we all tried to give it to him. He was one of the reasons I became a music teacher. RIP sir and prayers to the family.

To the family
of Mr. C:
My deepest condolences.
Remembering what a fine person Mr. C was. He would often remind me how appreciative I should be of my grandfather who raised my brothers and myself and how they sacrificed things by buying a clarinet and a trombone. We honored them as we honored him. When my brother became seriously ill, I was so impressed when Mr. and Mrs. C came to see him. Now they can jam together. Mr C will be missed.

We won second in the NATION in concert band competition in Washington, DC at the Cherry Blossom Festival in 1963 (my senior year) because of this man! RIP Mr. "C"!

I am so sorry to hear of Mr.C's passing. He was a great musician and directed a fine band ensemble. His influence for excellence helped me in my own musical career of 37 years teaching. He is not to be forgotten.

Dear Mrs C and Family,
sorry for your loss. Mr C was a great influence on me and the many who had him as a band director at Waverly High School. Some of my traits I owe to him and his persistance in our Band we had one great band under his direction. RIP MR C such a great inspiration to all who knew him

Mr. C, though he left Waverly in my Junior year, is part of the reason I taught music in Kenya for 22 years! I even used some of his WHS Practice Slips to help my students keep track of their practice. I also have the clarinet he helped my parents buy, though must confess I haven't played in quite some time. He lived a strong, full and joyful musical life. Looking forward to jamming with him in Heaven someday!

So sorry to hear this. I was a Waverlyette with the band when we went to Washington and competed in the Cherry Blossom Festiful. What a great experience with a very talented man.

Dad, your light will live forever in my heart! Miss you!!!!
