Not sure what to say?

Dear Alice and Mrs. Cohn,

There was no one in the world warmer or kinder than Dr. Sam, and I feel so privileged to have known him both in my professional life as a reporter covering Cooper Green Hospital and my personal life as a friend to Alice.
My thoughts and prayers are with you at this time of tremendous loss.

The extended family of Gilbert F. Douglas, Jr, M.D. sends our deepest sympathy during this time of loss.

Dear Aunt Mildred, Jeffrey, Sam and Alice,

I am so sorry to hear of the death of Uncle Sam. Ed just called today since he was at mom's house when you called. Uncle Sam was so special to us. I still have such fond memories of the toast that the gave to me and Bart at our rehearsal dinner. He had such a wonderful since of humor. I am so glad that my children have all gotten to know you both.
I am in shock and saddened.

Love to all of you,
Suzie

Our family joins all of Dr. Sam's friends in not only sorry for his passing but celebration of his wonderful life

In Memory of a great surgeon who had such a dry sense of humor and it was such an honor to work with him at St. Vincents as a registered nurse. He was one of a few surgeons at St. Vincents whom I thought was one of the best.

Mildred and family: You are in my prayers, as always. With great admiration and love, Sharon, Melanie & Stewart
