Not sure what to say?

Being a former student and athlete at Jr.4 in the 60´s, Sam was also the baseball coach as well as educator who I learned to appreciate the more I was associated with this gentleman! Mr.Cortina, rest in Peace!

I had the honor and pleasure of knowing Sam through NJSIAA when he officiated and ran the scoreboard and I worked with LHS and did the downs clock for them. Didn't know he had passed. Sorry to hear.

Dear Cortina Family,
Was saddened to hear of the news of Sam's passing. Not only was he a lifelong learner, but a lifelong teacher. As a football official who was tutored and mentored by Sam, he never stopped sharing his knowledge, passion and wisdom for the game. A great and passionate man.

Dear Cortina Family (especially Karen & Jane),

Just want to express my condolences and let you know how sorry I am to hear about your Dad. What an accomplished life he led - take solace knowing he is with your wonderful Mom. They are both great people and you guys have an awesome family. Take care.

I did not have the pleasure of knowing your father, but as shown in his obituary he was clearly an impressive, intelligent man who filled many roles in his lifetime. Undoubtedly he touched and influenced many lives by his leadership, character and example. My deepest condolences on your loss. Friends and family and the world have lost a truly exemplary man, a one of a kind.
