Not sure what to say?

My sincere condolences to the Cundiff family. I was a customer since childhood. Mr. Cundiff was a wonderful man. He opened the pharmacy during one of the worst snow days ever to provide medicines for my six week old daughter. The state police met him at the pharmacy to transport the drugs to my family...I will always be grateful for his kindness!

To the Cundiff Family, Wallace will always be remembered in Vinton for all the hours he put into making Vinton a more special place to grow up and live.
The drug store will forever be in our memories as a gathering place for all of our friends. Wallace contributed greatly to our community. Long live his memory. May God bless all of you.

I am so very sorry for your loss. Wallace was such a great man, and a major part of our lives growing up in Vinton. He did so much for so many, and will always be remembered with great fondness.

Dear Cundiff family,
I have many memories of Cundiff's from growing up in Vinton. It was a treat to go in and sit at the counter and eat while waiting on my mom's prescriptions to be filled!! When the lunch counter was closed it was the end of an era. No more grilled cheese sandwiches and Cokes in the old glass bottles. :)
One of the many things that impresses me about Wallace was how he always remembered your name. When my mom would drop me off at the back door to run in and get...

I have so many good memories of Mr. Cundiff, growing up in Vinton. The drugstore was always a highlight, after school or after church on Sundays. He was a great presence in the town. My sympathies to the family.

Cynthia and I never had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Cundiff, yet if Sam is any indication, he must have been a wonderful person who served his community and customers in an exemplary manner. Our deepest condolences to the family.

To the Cundiff Family,
I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Wallace touched many peoples' lives. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him. I, too, have known him since I was young girl. He and my grandparents (Bill and Cat Silver) were great friends. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers during this very difficult time. Lisa Goad, RN

To the entire Cundiff Family,
