Not sure what to say?

Well, Sammy, all of the times we spent together were the best. You'd make me promise to tell the truth while holding my hand on a mystery novel while we played courtroom. You'd do your Jackie Gleason routine dozens of times a day, and I'd laugh every time. In the summer we'd go down to the end of the street to go swimming.
In later years you were always going to marry me....Sammy you were the absolute best..you brought joy to everyone in the family every day of your life. You will be...

Uncle Sammy had so many interests and things he liked...Red Sox, I Love Lucy, bowling, playing pool, wrestling, coffee ice cream, spaghetti and meatballs, cook-outs, Rocky Point, Elvis, hats and more! I'm happy Sammy left me with memories that fill my senses; the sight of him waiting for us at the airport, the sound of him singing to Elvis, and the smell of Old Spice aftershave! My favorite pastime with Sammy was playing baseball in Nana's backyard. To all of Sammy's friends and family that...

When I look back on growing up in Rhode Island, Sammy is one of the first people that come to my mind. I can still feel the excitement of landing at T.F. Green and scouring the crowd that were outside to greet the passengers for Nana and Sammy. As soon as I would spot them it was all I could do to keep from jumping out of my seat and running out of the plane. Nothing can compare to the summers in RI with Sammy. From dancing in the living room with him to playing outside in the backyard,...

Uncle Sammy the confetti(snow) has been flying all around Dayton from the Big Party in Heaven. I'll never forget the wheel barrel rides around the back yard on Urban Ave at Nana and Papa's house. How about all those cookouts. And, all the wrestling you would watch. Your hard work on earth is done and now you are in heaven with all those you have missed. Enjoy your Big Party -- I don't mind all the confetti flying around here on earth. Love, Deanna

In loving memory of a wonderful person. We will love you and miss you always.

I'll always remember Sammy dancing around in his jockey shorts at home when I would come over in the 50's. He was the sweetest guy and always had a big smile on his face and was happy to see everyone. God Bless you Sammy.........You are one in a million in my book.
