Samuel Demty

Samuel Demty, 86, of Florida and formerly of Lincoln, passed away April 24, 2018. He was the beloved husband of Geraldine (Rivero) Demty. Born in Central Falls, he was the son of the late Farjalal and Eva (Kabbaze) Demty. Sam was an army veteran of the Korean War. He was a principle program analyst for the State of RI for 25 years, retiring in 1989. Besides his wife, he is survived by his children, Keith Demty, Michelle Ewing, Francis Demty, and Joseph Demty; his sisters, Olga Asermely-Nicoletta and Mary Koussa, his brother, Joseph Demty, and five grandchildren. He was the brother of the late Sadie Jarjoura, Antoinette Keough, Charles and Sippie Demty. Relatives and friends are invited to a Liturgy of Christian Burial Monday, April 30th at 10AM in Saint Basil the Great Church, Skyview Drive, Lincoln Burial with military honors will be in Saint Basil’s Cemetery, Cumberland. Visiting hours Sunday from 5-8PM in Saint Basil The Great Church.
