Not sure what to say?

I used to attend his services in Baton rough and was baptized by him at the camp he had for kids (I was an adult)

Denise, Rusty, Mr. Buddy,
I read about Uncle Sam and I just want to give you my condolences and tell you that you and your family are in my thoughts. Having experienced a loss fairly recently myself (my older sister on 1/1/2008), I know that you are going through a very tough time right now, to say the least. There's a grand and glorifying lesson about life and unity in the human experience that arises from such a loss. We are forced to open our eyes to the true value of love and...

Nila, Mike, Denise and Gina,
Donald and I just heard of Sam's passing this morning during church. I immediately started crying which quickly turned to laughter as we remembered all of the great times we shared as neighbors. From playing games at your kitchen table, the week of the hurricane and no power, to the secret redecorating of your home. We will miss Sam greatly. You and your families are in our prayers.

I was with great sadness for us all but great joy for Uncle Sam that I learned of his passing. I worked with Sam and his radio ministry many years ago when I lived in B.R. and N.O. I have a picture in my bookcase of him and I together years ago when I was visiting and I am thinking how much I will miss him even just knowing he is no longer with us. My outstanding memories are taking car rides with him because I never knew where I would end up! I met more wonderful people through Sam!

Dear Nila and Family,

We remember when you all came into BR from CO back in the 70s. We thank God for the privilege of working with you all in CJM and Kids Jamborees. We remember Sam as a dear friend and a man of God. May the peace of God be with you. All our love in Christ Jesus.

Mike, Aunt Dee and Family, you know we love you very much and appreciated Uncle Sam in so many ways. We are praying for you all. Love you much...The Roan Family (James, Patricia, Stephanie, Christian and (Dan).

Uncle Sam was a dear friend and brother in Christ and a wonderful man of God. His smile and kindness was beyond compare. He brought joy whereever he went and I will miss him dearly and cannot wait to be with him in heaven.
Aunt Dee, Mike, Gina and all of you in the family I know how much he loved all of you and you him.

With the Love of Jesus...Al and Nancy Landry

Aunt Dee, Gina, Denise & Mike,
We loved your Dad and praise Our Lord Jesus for his ministry. He was always there for us and greatly influenced my daughters in the ways of the LORD.
He served his Master well.

Mike, I am so sorry to hear of your father's death. My prayers are with your family. You and Ellen will always be special to me.
