Not sure what to say?

I will always remember Mr. Sam passing out the biscuits as a truckload of tires came in and wanting me to give him the weather forcast for the following week. I will also remember the Dockery's payment of respect in my own fathers death in 1996.

Our thoughts are with you as you grieve your father, grandfather and friend.

I personally didn't know Mr. Samuel Dockery, but I do know his son, David Dockery. I am a junior at Union University. Any man that could raise a son as wonderful as President Dockery must have been a truly wonderful human being. I want the whole Dockery family to know they have been and will continue to be in the prayers of the Union family.

Mr. Sam was a wonderful man. He was always faithful and kind. He was also a very thoughtful person. When my son was born, he sent him a gift-I'll never forget that. I have always looked forward to his Christmas cards. He was so sweet and I will miss him greatly.

Sam is a precious man. He always had a friendly, warm smile and hello at the recreation center. He missed his wife so much, and would speak of her lovingly. I am so grateful that he is enjoying the LORD with her now. I will miss the precious Christmas cards.

My deepest sympathy to Mr. Sam Dockery's family in their time of loss; especially to Mr. George in the loss of his brother. Our prayers are with you all.

You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Love,
Kathie Corbell Cramer

With thoughts, many prayers, and love to the entire extended family. David Nelson

Mr. Sam was a very active member of Hunter Street Baptist Church when he and Pansye lived in Birmingham. He was always there to greet us and was very kind to us when we had occasion to do business with him. We still have good memories of this kind and gentle man.
