Years ago, I worked at Bowie Race Course briefly when a friend of mine's father-in-law ran the carpentry shop. I remember a Tom Edel who worked there, possibly in the plumbing shop, and I seem to recall people referring to him kindly as "S. Thomas Edel". We crossed paths often while I was there and I can still see his blue truck riding from job site to job site with the blinker still on :). He was interesting, and always kind to me.
