As an old classmate of Sams at Assumption I cannot express how much he meant to me and how many times he was there for me when I needed it. Sam may not have had the most accessible humor and was typically shy at first, but the second he opened up you knew he was something special. I hope he is enjoying wherever he is now knowing he will forever hold a place in my heart as an incredible classmate and an even more incredible friend.

My son Jack is a close friend of Sam and his brothers. Our hearts break for you. I am so very sorry for your loss and cannot imagine how you feel. Our prayers are with you. I never met Sam but I have met his older brothers. You have raised nice young men. I pray you find peace.

While we did not personally know Sam, except as a baby, we followed his life on Facebook. He is sorely be missed but he had other plans which required his leaving early. This does no fill the emptiness of all of those who were close to him but have solace in knowing he has a higher purpose.
