Dear Barb,

Gary and I were saddened to hear of Sam's death. We are so sorry to have missed the celebration of his fun-filled life, but unfortunately we were out of town.

Mac and Vi cherished their friendship with the two of you. We always had good stories shared with us about your adventures together. They are surely celebrating with Sam now!

Barbara and family; I was very proud to call both you and Sam friends although we had not seen each other so much of late. You abetted my own love of Porsches and taught me how to be a better person and a better Doctor in teaching me how to drive a Porsche at speed. You will live on in our memories.

Barbara, we regret we will not be able to join you and your family for the celebration of Sam's life. We will always remember Sam's friendliness and patience at the bowling alley and will miss his ready smiles. May the wonderful memories of your beautiful life together sustain you at this time of sorrow and know that Sam will always be in your heart and ours.
