Sam was a wonderful caring man who helped many many people. One of them was me. Condolences and love to his family, especially Helen, and friends. He will be very much missed.

I briefly knew Sam, he was humble, always smiling, a delight, and always ready to give and receive a hug...
He leaves a wonderful legacy behind him, may we all be so fortunate.
May you be comforted by all who know you Hellen.

Sam was an indispensable part of our close community, even when he was fading. His smile and his greeting were warm and loving. He never stopped coming back. We will miss him.

Sam's presence in my life will be sorely missed, but not his influence.
He has been a Godsend to me as an example, a mentor, and friend since we first met many years ago. I dearly love this man and aspire to be like him when I grow up..
