I have a strong memory of watching Sam enter the open kitchen of the restaurant whee he had hosted a dinner the previous evening for out of town fiends and relatives who would be attending services for his beloved, Molly. Sam shook the hand of each of the chefs and servers and thanked them for their excellent service the previous evening. Sam was a visionary developer, an outstanding citizen and a great neighbor. We will greatly miss knowing he was just over the fence. His residential and commercial developments stand out, high quality, well designed and very innovative. They created the streetscapes and set the tone for the Old Town that was emerging. Sam was a true character, a fascinating man, my husband and I spent many happy hours with him and Molly in the past, including a skiing trip to Zermatt which was memorable. My condolences to his girls.

Sam Ellsworth. Was a fine, and gentle man, who possessed, a great sense of humor. Sam, was a man who was generous with his time. A man who deeply loved his daughters .
