Dear Elaine and family, my heart is heavy at the news of Sam's passing. I wish nothing more for your family but to be at peace, and to be able to remember the legacy that Sam and Elaine left on us the students. Many blessings unto you.

Elaine, Molly and Sylvie, my heart is breaking for you. I have such wonderful memories of spending time with all of you on the sidelines of Molly and Kit's soccer games. As soon as Sam and I saw each other, one of us would greet the other with a faux Brooklyn Goodfellas accent, "Ehhh, how you DOin'?" to which the other would respond with, "How YOU doin'?"
