I´m a second cousin to Sammy. Had an opportunity to meet the old rascal in a special trip I made to Richmond to reunite with him. While we did not agree politically, I enjoyed the interaction and lively conversation. I too am a woodworker and admired visiting with hin on his technique. I read many a letter frim Sammy during his sailing travels as I was living with his Aunt Vivian at the time (Den´s Forrest his father´s sister). Rest in peace Sammy you will be missed.
