Samuel "Sam" Hugh Frazier (the 16th and fiercely proud of such) passed away after a long illness the morning of May 12th, 2025. He was born on June 8th, 1944 in (much to his personal shame as a Southern gentleman) Washington, D.C to two eloping World War II love birds, Cooper Lacewell Frazier and...

Not sure what to say?

I took care of Mr. Frazier for about a year in the Belle Mina house. I think of him often. He always encouraged me and spoke proudly of the education I was pursuing. I hadn´t but started college when I stopped doing caregiving. I wished to go back and tell him that I did accomplish all the things we talked about together. I hope he is at peace. He is a missed, and beloved man.

I am shocked. Went to call San and found his number disconnected. Checked his name and his obit appeared. Sam and I went through OCS together, and served in the UK at the same time and was an usher at his marriage to Carol in Ireland. If anyone in the family sees this message, please give me a call at (818) 438-1587. I would be desirous of hearing about the details of his final years. Garry James

May he rest in Peace. He worked to keep our Decatur High classmates together. Our next Decatur High reunion will likely be in the clouds.

A special friend-landed gentry with a decent streak miles wide right through him.

My condolences to the Frazier family in this time of grief. Grief can be hard but special memories can help us cope through this difficult time. May the peace of God comfort you through this difficult time.

Sam was a dear friend whom I greatly admired. It was a privilege and pleasure knowing him.

I was saddened to learn of my friend and fellow lawyer's passing. I enjoyed his participation in matters even when he was representing the opposition. His active roles in the St. Andrews Society of the Middle South benefited all of us and the society. Our best wishes to his family as they bring to the fore the wonderful memories all who knew him have. Charlie and Anne Moses
