We feel fortunate to have known Sam. We admired his energy and efforts to work for important causes. Scott will miss their chats about the markets. So we regret that we will not be in Iowa for the memorial. We will be thinking of you.

heartfelt condolences to you and the family, Chris. I remember you well-- and remember what a warm kind brilliant man Sam was. My father, too, thought the world of Sam and used him as an example for what/who we should strive to become. I'll be thinking of you and your family in this time of grieving.

I still remember standing next to you, admiring your new car at Jerry Parkers and you would exclaim with such enthusiasm, "it runs on electrons" "we are carbon neutral". You will be missed.
