Not sure what to say?

Ruthie, Sam, Steve, Frank and Tony,
Rick and I were very sad to hear of Sam’s passing. Johnny, (our dad) would keep us informed about Thriftway monthly lunches and would always share how much he enjoyed seeing Sam.

Our memories of Sam are that he truly loved his family but especially his beautiful wife, Ruthie. Sam was a strong family man who one admires. Sam was always upbeat and friendly when he would visit our Thriftway stores. An executive that the employees could...

I new Sam from two eras. First when I lived in Mt. Adams and Sam would come there to visit friends and I believe he went to school there. And the second chapter was years later when I worked at the UDF home office and Sam worked with Rich Lindner at Thriftway. Sam was always a very friendly person, always with a smile. I also met one of his sons years later at the annual banquet for The Friendly Sons of St. Patrick. It may be hard to believe a great Italian would be at that function!!! ...

SAM WAS A WONDERFUL MAN, PERSON HUMAN BEING. I WILL ALWAYS HAVE THE MEMORY OF WHEN WE WORKED WITH THRIFTWAY HE WOULD ALWAYS COME IN AND HE MADE A POINT OF SAYING AT LEAST HI AND OR SHAKING YOUR HAND WHEN HE WAS THERE. I KNOW HIS WIFE WHEN SHE WOULD COME IN WITH HIM TRY TO CORRECT HIS, BUT TO HIM I WAS ALWAYS PEGGY. WELL SAM, YOUR PEGGY, LOL WILL MISS YOU AND WILL REMEMBER THE TIMES WE HAD AT THRIFTWAY AND WHEN YOU WOULD COME INTO WALMART. RUTH YOU HAVE MY LOVE AND PRAYERS AS WELL AS ALL THE...

Dear Ruth and Family,

I am so sorry for your loss. You are in my thoughts and prayers

Mary Carol

We were so blessed to have Sam as a neighbor and friend. He would do anything to help you. I will miss you very much Buddy. Sending Love and Hugs to Ruth. Prayers for her and all of the family.

Sam was a wonderful friend and neighbor to my sister-in-law, Shirley Kipp. Also a distant relative to my dear friend, Bill Sammons. Bill and I are sharing our condolence to Ruth and the family. He will be in our thoughts and prayers.

Sam was such a wonderful neighbor. I thoroughly enjoyed our conversations over the past 20 years regarding his home projects and that of his family. I’ll certainly miss my “garage buddy.” RIP Sam.

Sorry for the paaing uncle sam rest with god
