Not sure what to say?

Green Bay stands tall today and is still a model of good government because of the tireless efforts of Samuel Halloin. I am proud to have known him and to have learned so much from him about good planning and firm decision making.

This is from the Thursday lunch group .We have missed Sam for some time now and wish him well in his new life . Dick , Clyde Louie, John Phil and all the rest .

I knew Sam many years ago growing up in Luxemburg. He was a great friend of my brothers, especially to my handicapped brother Charlie. Many memories of a good man.

My sincere condolences to the Halloin family. Sam and I were opponents over the years, but I was pleased to endorse him and help him win his 4th record breaking term as Mayor of Green Bay. He was always a gentleman and I appreciated the several times he gave me words of encouragement after he retired from office. He helped set the foundation of many good things in Green Bay and was a modest man unconcerned for personal recognition like so many politicians are today. I'm sorry I was out of...

Tom and the entire family. Mike and I are so sorry for your loss. Both of your parents were wonderful people. I will always remember them fondly. You are all in our prayers. Corky Parmentier-Greely and Mike Greely.

My condolences to all the Halloin family.
Wnn ibThat Sam was a dedicated public servant is well known. What is perhaps a more private side your dad was always very sweet to all the neighborhood children.
Your dad, together with your mom, were respected not only for the work that they did outside the home, but also for what a loving family they nurtured inside that home.
Your dad, Sam Halloin, was simply a wonderful man, and I am glad that I knew him.
In sorrow for your loss,...

Ann, My sympathies to you and your family on the loss of your father. He is now at peace and you are all in my thoughts and prayers.
Sincerely, Diane King

I had the privilege of getting to know Mayor Halloin when I worked at the Geen Bay Area Visitor and Convention Bureau. Mayor Halloin was a caring, kind and humble gentleman. I think he was one of the best leaders Green Bay ever had. God bless you, Mayor Halloin, and thank you for your life of unselfish service to others. My condolences and prayers for Mayor Halloin's family.

Deepest sympathies in the loss of your father to all your family. We connected in different ways, and were always spoken well of in our home. God be with you now to be your true Comforter.
