On Sunday, I was informed of Sam's recent passing. I am shocked and saddened to hear this, especially after speaking with him on April 3, 2011, as I was coming into church and he was leaving the morning service. I am so sorry to hear about Sam Jr. I can remember so well seeing him walk to Eddie Williams store, walking to school at Lincoln Rd. Jr. High, and singing in the choir at Lincoln Rd.
