Not sure what to say?

There are people in this world that you feel blessed to have met...Sam was one of those people. Mac and I are sending our prayers to Vicki and the rest of the gang on Norris Lake. I know his spirit lives on in all of you.

Dear Vicki

I'm so sorry to hear of Sam's death. You father and I tried to keep contact and I had known about Sam's illness. Mary and I will be praying for you and the family. If we can help, please ask. Steve and Mary Weaver (your dad's next-door neighbors) God Bless!

Sam taught us all how to be a true friend and to face life and death with a smile. God broke the mold after he made Sweet Sam. Vicki, we are thinking of you...

Vicki you are in our thoughts & prayers. Sam was always wearing a smile when we saw him at the lake.Glad we got to know him.

To the Helm's family, sorry for the loss of Sammy. Thinking of each and everyone of you.

Sam was a mentor to me. The best I ever worked with. He was unbelivable took a dumb ironworker and turned him into a skilled craftsman. May God Bless Him.

Dear Vicki and family,

We loved Mr. Helms as a patient, he actually became part of the family here at SMMC. He brought so much joy to the ultrasound department! We will greatly miss him and all of his stories. May God give you and your family all the comfort and peace during this difficult time.

Love, The Ultrasound Department at SMMC

Vicki and all of Sammy's family, I am so sorry that you have lost Sammy. Although, his suffering is over and you will see him again. My mom always spoke of how much he looked like Uncle Ervin, whom she loved so very much. There was definitely lots of family members to welcome him and the singing must be absolutely beautiful. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Sam you will forever be missed by my family. We will never forget all the good times, Wish everyone could have your outlook on life and enjoy it as you did (with a smile 4 everyone)God Bless and RIP MY FRIEND... WE LOVE YOU !!!
