Not sure what to say?

A wonderful guy with a critical mind. We were housemates at Harvard & I visited him in Frankfurt years ago. Delightful sense of humor. Prof. John H. Neu, Dept. of Political Science;
Whittier College; Whittier, Ca.

Sam was a fabulous brother, brother in law, and uncle to Helen, Jerry, John and Joan Prittie. We loved him and miss him so much.

In my memories, Sam was a special person, a unique individual. I wish that I had kept in touch with him over the years. The world lost a good one with Sam's passing! My deepest sympathies and condolences to Jim and the Henes family.

Sam will be greatly missed. We will remember his intellect, his keen wit and his friendship.

Sam was our neighbor and friend at Shaker Square, at the CSU pool, and in discussions of art, music and politics. It is consoling to know he is relieved of pain. Our sympathy to his family. Mary and John Boyle

Our deepest sympathy to the family; we are so sorry for your loss. Memories return of our school days in Wellington. I always remember working on a special project where we did a diorama of the book, Tom Sawyer and Huckleberry Finn. Later in high school, we shared our love for music in the band and orchestra in the clarinet section. He was fun to be around and always had great stories to share. We were finely represented when he was selected to give response for our fiftieth class reunion....

Sam was a good man. His intellect and compassion added much to this world. May he rest in peace.

A life well-lived but ended too soon.
Thanks to Sam for his generous support of the arts and history and his support for Lorain County.
