Not sure what to say?

To the family,
My name is Gayle and I worked with Sam about 10 years at Southern Foods as his inside sales person. We sold alot of food in Va. together as a team. He also became a dear friend of mine. Sam was so special in so many ways of life to me. He was so kind and always a gentleman. He was mostly proud of his family in everyway. He will be missed and remembered always. I loved him with all my heart and will always keep him in my heart with all the wonderful memories of the good ole...

Marty, Ken & I were saddened to learn of Sam's death. Betty sent me word today about him and King. Reunions won't be the same without him there. Our prayers are with you and your family.

Marty, We just learned of Sam's passing & are so sorry that we did not know before the funeral. We enjoyed the times together with you & Sam through the food industry. We will lift you & your family up in prayer as you face the days ahead. May you find God's grace sufficient for your every need.

Had the pleasure of working with Sam at Southern Foods here in Roanoke for ten years always enjoyed talking about sales, football, and life in general. He spoke of his family with great pride, my thoughts are with you all.

I had the pleasure of working with Sam at Southern Foods all the years he was there. May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

I worked with Sam at Southern Foods all the years he was there. He was a very special kind and wonderful person. He was always happy. I hope he did not have to suffer during his last days. I know for sure that Sam is sitting at the feet of Jesus now and feeling no pain. I bought the 1992 Caprice that he used to drive at Southern Foods. We wore it out! I loved Sam. He was special to so many people at Southern Foods. He will be deeply missed.

Marty, Our deepest sympathies to you and your family at this time. We only knew Sam for our 16 day trip down the Rhine and Danube rivers early this year. It was a true pleasure to have him as part of our lives. Both Sharon and I learned how easy he is to love.
