Samuel Horton Obituary
Sam was born on January 25, 1949 in Delta, Colorado, where he spent his formative years. He went on to live at the Grand Junction Regional Center and found his roots through Ariel Clinical Services. Throughout his life, he was known for his sassy soul, humorous bones, and tender heart.
In his free time, Sam enjoyed coffee dates, and was always eager to share a laugh and enthusiasm with those he knew. He was an active member of his community, volunteering for various causes and organizations.
Sam is preceded in death by his mother and siblings. His memory will be cherished by all who knew him.
Funeral services will be held on August 23, 2024 at 3:00 PM with Callahan-Edfast.

Sam did the most meticulous canvas needle work ever! It was perfect. Could follow a pattern like none other. He loved Christmas time decorating the tree and house and the lights. The joy of giving gave him so much pleasure. Crafting, modeling, puzzles he crocheted and he loved his family. RIP Sammy

From the time I was very young Sam would shop all year long for Christmas presents for our entire family. One particular year he purchased me strawberry earrings to match my hair. I love you, Sam. You are missed.
