Samuel B. Hyde

Samuel was born on April 25, 1927 and passed away on Wednesday, September 5, 2018. Samuel was a resident of Princeville, Illinois at the time of passing. Sam was a WWII United States Navy veteran serving from 1944 to 1946 in the Asiatic Pacific Theater on the USS Bremerton. Sam was a 65 year member of the Princeville Masonic Lodge, a 50 plus year member of the Princeville United Methodist Church, a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, the Princeville Chapter of the American Legion Post #0248, and served on the Princeville Township Board for 12 years. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 6, 2018 at the church. Masonic service will be at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday following the visitation. Burial will be in Princeville Township Cemetery in Princeville. Memorial contributions may be made to Princeville United Methodist Church or Akron- Princeville Ambulance.
