We are sad about the passing of our friend, Joe. I met Joe as a freshman at Hoban High School. We were fast friends throughout that time and we are part of the first graduating class of "57. We knew it all and loved each other anyway. We went into the Army in November of '59. We took basic taining together. After we served our term of service, we worked together. My memories of Joe will always be cherished. He was a wonderful man who loved his family and grandchildren. You will forever be remembered for your generous heart. I will miss our conversations and all your advice. Know that you will be missed and loved by all.

Joe was more like a father than a step-father to me. He always referred to me as his daughter and not his step-daughter. I love him very much and will truly miss him.
