Not sure what to say?

Still Remembered.. July 2001 at his home in Massena, NY.

Sadly, we just learned the news today that Sam died. He was a dear friend of ours. We moved to Hawaii in 2007 and maintained email and phone contact with him, however, as his health failed, that became harder and harder for him. We are so sad to hear this news. Alan R. Spector and Jon-Paul Bingham. If his relatives see this, please email me. [email protected]

You are a lamed vuvnick and Am Yisroel is poorer for your passing. You touched so many lives, and everyone who met you knows how special a person you are. Thanks for sharing your wisdom. I cannot say enough good things about you. Only I will always treasure our many long conversations and visits. I miss you very much, and am so grateful that I had the zechut to have called you my friend.

Thank you Sam for being a kind and generous friend and confidant. I will always treasure our Pesach vacations together, especially the ones at Tarrytown and Mt.Washington. Words cannot express how important your insights and advice have meant to me. You gave me the approval and confidence I needed to be myself, and I feel so fortunate to have met you and shared so many good times and conversations with you. Just knowing you has renewed my faith in humanity and in HaShem. Thank you for...

"Good Shabos" my wonderful friend. You were the Father I never had and the friend I hoped would last a lifetime. May God watch over your soul for all eternity and may our love and frienship reunite again in heaven.

To an American Hero of the greatest generation, to a friend and neighbor may you rest in peace. most sincerely, Bill Cregg

May you rest in Peace Mr. Jacobs. You will always hold a special place in my heart. Childhood memories of living next door, my mom sending me next door to bring homemade bread during holidays. And the precious book you gave my sister (Cheryl) and I (Lorie) will never be forgotten. Thank you for being a part of our life. Lorie Cregg Hanson

We had the opportunity to know Sam at the Oaks Cluster Round Table discussion group. He also shared with us, the story he wrote about his experiences in Korea. He contributed a great deal to our group. Sam will be greatly missed.
Our thoughts and sympathy are with you. Paul & Jan
