Not sure what to say?

I still remember the time he drove me home after my appointment in my early 20's. What a guy, my grandfather was a doctor so I know an outstanding doctor when I see one and he was exceptional. RIP Dr. Jacobson.

I am honored to have known him. He worked tirelessly with my daughter Cali. He had us over for dinner with his family. His knowledge and kindness will never be forgotten.

Thanks for "A global history of architecture"

So sorry to hear of Dr. Jacobson´s passing. My daughter has been a patient since 2000 and he was such a good, great, nice doctor - a wonderful man. Last time we were in Philly and we were done with our tests... Dr. Jacobson walked us down to our awaiting taxi and gave us hugs goodbye. I will always cherish that hug. Really - a remarkable man. He will be very missed. I hope his important research continues. Our thoughts are with his family - and I hope they realize how many lives this...

I just learned of Dr. Jacobson´s passing this afternoon. Dr Jacobson was my doctor in Miami when I was 15. He saw me periodically over the years my entire life, I´m 50 now, & he also saw & counseled my my daughter. The world lost a great, great man, when he passed. I hope his research carries on. RIP,

Condolences wished to family of Dr. Jacobson, who graduated with me at Bowen in 1962. Memories for eternal blessings.

I found out about Dr. Jacobson's passing last week. My thoughts and prayers go out to Jean and Maxine. I have been a patient of Dr. Jacobson's since 2004, and was a participant in one of his first gene therapy studies. Dr. Jacobson's kindness, quiet humor, and dedication to restoring vision will never be forgotten. Rest in peace.

Dear Jean and Maxine, We are profoundly sad to hear of Sam's passing! We looked for you at this year's ARVO meeting in New Orleans. We last met with you with Sam at ARVO meeting in 2018. We are very sorry for Sam's untimely passing. We worked together at MEEI during the residency. Will miss him very much. May the cherished memories bring you some measure of comfort at this time of deep sorrow. Susan Ryu and Michael Gaynon Palo Alto, CA
