Not sure what to say?

Dr. Joy provided pre-natal care for my 2 daughters. He delivered my first born. He was calming, reassuring and highly skilled. I had just learned of his passing when I met his son at Metro during my husband's surgery. May he rest in peace.

Dr. Joy delivered my daughter in 1982. The delivery had some challenges...he saved my daughter's life. I'm so very sorry to hear about his passing; God Bless his soul. I've thought about him quite often over the years. I wanted to send him a letter so many times expressing my gratitude, but wanted to respect his privacy. I told my daughters that I could only pray that they find a wonderful doctor as Dr. Joy.

Dr Joy delivered me in Sept, 1977. Fairview Hospital. My parents raved about him. So sad to hear he passed. God bless you sir, thank you for your service to our country and Fairview Hospital.

Oct 21, 2020...As I recall, this would be Dr. Joy's birthday, as it is also the birthday of my last child, born in 1991. Dr. Joy told me his wife asked not to interrupt his birthday dinner, but we did! So sorry about that! Wonderful doctor, and I'm glad to have been of the generation that the same doctor delivered ALL of my 4 children! Thank you for all your years of service...I think of you 4 times a year, on my kid's birthdays!

The other day, Dr, Joy came to mind so I googled his name and was sadden to read that he had passed. Dr. Joy delivered my two daughters, one in 1977 and the second one in 1987. These two girls have blessed us with Grandchildren. Thank you Dr. Joy for taking care of me and bringing in these two wonderful children. May you rest in God's loving arms. Condolences to his family.

My wife ( Una ) and I ( Joe ) would like to offer our condolences to Irene,Matthew,Cheryl and Brian (whom we met before ),and all the Joy family and friends. I cherish the memory of days and nights we worked together for years while I was chairman of anesthesia at Fairview Hospital. Sam was very highly admired by his patients, and respected by all his colleagues. His pleasant and " joyful" attidude was contagious. God bless his soul .

Condolences, Irene and all the Joy family. Sam's many years were a blessing to all who knew him. His humor, concern and positive presence made everyone comfortable with him. Thank you for the loving care you gave him, especially in these final, difficult years. Love and Prayers, Joan and Bob

In 1966 Dr. Joy delivered the first of my three children. She recently completed her job as Project Manager of ONE University in University Circle. My second daughter was born in 1971. She owns her own clothing Store in Portland, Oregon and manages a
second store there for a company from Denmark. Dr. Joy signed out to go to the Browns game in 1968 so one of his partners
delivered him. He was a great Doctor and I
have often wondered how he was...May he rest in Peace after a life...

I'm very sorry for the loss of your loved one. I hope that 1st Thessalonians 4:14 helps ease your pain and gives you hope.
