saddened me to hear that Sam passed...i knew Sam through the trades...he was always in our shop getting specialty millwork items..got to know him there..Kaufmann and Nitka..Jerry Nitka is my late cousin Rosemarie's husband...Sam was a very nice and gentile man..went through hell as a child but persevered came to America and built a successful life ..i can still remember the numbers tatood on his arm..a great and honorable man..

A belated response, Sam was a great mentor to me and many other Tradesmen, as well as a dear friend to my father. I'm blessed to have known him and his wife Elaine and Brother in law Harry

Will miss you Sam..i knew you quite well from your visits to our shop...you always remembered Bud and Fred..

I am so deeply sorry to hear of the death of Samuel. I always enjoyed the twinkle of his smile in the joyous moments we shared together with the Hammers family. Sending comfort to all. Rabbi Craig Axler and Temple Isaiah

Our deepest and most heartfelt sympathy on the loss of Sam. He and Elaine were dear friends of my Parents. May his memory be a most beautiful blessing. Cherish the memories.... they are the legacy of love.

To the Kaufmann family, Sorry for the death of your father. My daughter, Stacie has been going to Dr. Larry Kaufmann for many yrs. May God be with all of you, in this time of need.

May the memory of Schmuel ben Lieb be a blessing.
