My father and mother John and Maureen Pitts were very close friends of Sam and Barb. My dad called me this morning saddened to learn of Sam's passing, as they both served together "in the granite mountain" at NORAD. Our family John, my sister Beverly and I offer our sincere condolences to Barbara and the Kelley family. (Maureen passed away ten years ago.) Rest in Peace Sam you were always Army Strong!
