I just learned today (2/1/24) of Sam's passing. Sam had been my late brother's counselor for several years and his compassion, patience, humor and humanity was evident from day one. My brother did not trust easily, and he really came to love Sam. Sam helped me as well - always ready with some insight or experience he thought would help, and it often would help. I will miss him! In fact, I missed a call from him shortly before he passed, I called back and left a message but we never did...
